Friends of Keter Torah Uman

Scholarships, Torah, and a future for children in Uman. We keep children in Talmud Torah with scholarships, meals, teachers, and daily learning — connected to the legacy of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov.

Who We Are

For the children of Uman

Every gift is for the children: scholarships so they can stay in Talmud Torah, food and warmth so they can learn without fear, teachers and books so they can grow into serious students — and, with Hashem's help, into the next generation of Torah scholars in Uman.

Friends of Keter Torah is a registered non-profit devoted to the children of Uman — boys and girls who deserve a real chance to learn Torah, grow in character, and become something great. We exist so a child is never turned away because a family cannot pay tuition, buy books, or keep a student in school. Through scholarships, daily learning, prayer, and care for needy families, we help establish a stronger bond of identity throughout our Jewish community — sharing pride in our past and an untiring commitment to the next generation.

What We Do

Scholarships, Torah, and daily care

These children should be sitting in class, not worrying how their family will get through the month. Your donation pays for scholarships, tuition, learning materials, meals, and the daily life of the Breslov Talmud Torah in Uman — so a child can learn today and become a ben Torah, a scholar, and a source of pride for his family tomorrow.

Tefillah at the resting place of Rabbi Nachman, dedicated in your name.

Community

A stronger bond of identity for children, families, and Breslov in Uman.

From Uman

Mesibat Chumash at Keter Torah

These are the children. A Mesibat Chumash — the day a boy begins the Five Books of Moses — is what scholarships and daily learning make possible.

Our Students

Children growing in Torah and character

Students learn Torah, pray daily, and develop middot — character, spiritual sensitivity, and a sense of community — in the atmosphere of Breslov in Uman. Your gift is a scholarship, a Chumash, a meal, and a reason a child can stay in class.
